My personal profile

Why did you register for this course...?
I didn't register for this course it was mandatory but even if it wasn't I would still sign up for pe. It's a way for me to keep working out and to stay healthy. 
My favourite part of pe..
My favourite part of pe is staying active and getting to interact with all of the other classes. It's not like my other classes where your just with those people, in pe we are mostly always together with every class.
I think my current level of fitness is..
On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best I would say my fitness is a 7. I want to work on that so it can be a 9 or even a 10. If I work hard every fitness day I can achieve it. 
My personal best beep test score is...
The highest beep test score I've ever gotten would be 9.5.
I am currently doing the following things outside of pe...
I have dance everyday for at least 2 hours, I go on walks with my dogs, and I also sometimes go to the gym.
Things that PHYSICALLY prevent me from doing exercise..
I have really weak ankles from all the years of dancing and a bad back that certain things make it worse. I recently have injured my left shoulder from dance. I get injured a lot during dance.
Things that MENTALLY prevent me from doing exercise..
When I start to work out after awhile I get tired and I want to quit because of that voice in the back of my head telling me to. 
My eating habits are..
For breakfast lately I've been having a slim fast protein shake with blueberries or oranges on the side. For lunch I have a salad or sandwich and dinner is always different. For the most part everything I eat is healthy because my mom works for doctors so she makes sure I stay healthy. 
I want to be able to learn more about...
I want to learn more about me. Like my fitness and how long i can push myself, how long until I just have to stop working out. 
I want to improve my abilities in..
I want to be able to jog for a longer period of time. When I feel uncomfortable doing something with a workout I want to be able to push myself and feel comfortable. 
Outside activities I like to try are..
I don't have time to do any other activities because dance takes most of my time. 
My fitness goals for the semester are..
I want to get over 10 on the beep test, and to work out more outside of school. 
My personal character goals are...
When I come into pe I want to have a positive attitude. If it's an activity that I don't like I still want to be positive. If I have a negative attitude towards something, since my personality is so loud and outgoing it can affect the people around me.

  2. Good thoughtful insight on your profile Sarah. It seems like dance keeps you really busy and active, and also wears you down physically. With your ankle and shoulder issues which are joint related there are strengthening exercises you can do at home to help prevent future injury or chronic pain. Hopefully you can utilize some of the various workout days to your advantage because they provide a wide mix of muscle usage that is different than typical dance movements and wear and tear. This could also help in rebuilding.

    That's really good to hear your family instills quality eating habits.
